Specially with the stupid one point system, for a game that pass’s regulation time.

Rangers, Senators on friday, and then Buffalo back home on saturday… again the Habs have to look at it as a 6 point week… they have to absolutly get a minimum of 5pts to stay alive. Preferable 3 wins. and they have to win in regulation vs the rangers.

My predictions will be that the Rangers and Tampa bay, will be out, and Montreal and the Islanders will make it in.

But I could be wrong, the reason I feel that will happen is because I think the Habs will not loose a game till the end of the season. WHY? cause are team is playing the best hockey in ages… better then any other formation we’ve had in the last 5 years.

Goaltending, Defense, no more slackers, PP, PK is waking up, and we are not taking as many stupid penalty’s as before. The most important element, is # 27, he’s finally playing like a leader and performing.

They played well, but not good enough, and they didn’t get the goaltending that they should’ve gotten.

Abby let in too many week goals, and the Habs couldn’t score 5 on 5. That’s the main weekness of the Canadiens this season, is scoring goals.

They scored 3 PP goals, and that was it.

Tonight it’s the Maple Leafs, who came up with an ugly loss againts the Washington Capitals. It sure looks like it’s going to be a crazy saturday night!

3rd Dipietro deserved the injury, and he should’ve gotten a penalty for interference, he had no business being there.

Oh my god did that feel good… What a spectacular game that was, they were down 2-0 and they never gave up, they played hard, and shined!

The hole team was there for 60 min, and the best players were the fans… they stuck with them when they were down 2-0, and the youngster were able to bring the team up to their feet, when we were missing some key players.

Latendresse had one of his best games of the season… and he’s starting to become a key important player… I can see him being an amazing power forward in a couple of season’s. Ryder has been great as of late, and again last night he was, setting up Latendresse’s first goal, and scoring an amazing goal himself.

Hats off the Begin, for getting up from that ugly nasty collision with Dipietro, and Dipietro had no business being there. Well he got what he deserved… I would like to take a moment and nominate Ryan Smyth for an academy award for best drama in a sports series… Diving and diving and oh yah crying.

The fans believe… are the Canadiens starting to believe?

He was placed on the 4th line, but for me that is our 1st line.

They check they hit they play hard… Begin and Lapierre were doing the hits, creating space for Alex to do his magic… and maybe that’s what we needed all season long, instead of putting him with Samsonov for 42 games. Rookie Coaching mistake.

As for the rest of the team, well it was better but not from our key players, Koivu, Ryder were sleeping, Souray took a penalty at a bad time… and even tough the referee’s were horrible (again) we took too many penalty’s.

This can be a key turning point for the Habs, if we can beat the Simon less Islanders on tuesday night at the Bell Centre, we could build a strong stretch towards the end of the season.

And Carbo please keep Abby in nets, he will only get better… he has experience, the rest of the goalies don’t! most important key, and if you want someone to be hot in the playoffs, you have to go with Abby.

After that loss in Atlanta of 6 -2, you can pretty much say it’s over… But Mathematically there still in the playoff race. I really don’t understand what the source of the problem is, but it’s very embarassing right now to be a Montreal Canadiens fan. The Toronto Maple leaf’s are offering there fans a better show.

It’s nice that Bell Centre sells out all the time, but the organization has to know, that they don’t just have 21 273 fans per game, they have the whole province behind them, and that’s in the millions. SO PLEASE WAKE UP, you can still make the playoffs. These players are suppose to be professionels, so put your differences aside, and get the ball rolling.

This summer we will see some huge changes, either we are going to have a better team, or something worse. All I know is that we can’t have another poor heartless performance like the one we had in Atlanta on Thursday.

St-louis on saturday night, 8pm game start, Aebisher in nets (thank you) stick with him till the end… at least he has some experience, and he need a couple of games in a row to get into the groove.

Yes you guys are all flipping out, but he will trade Koivu and a 1st round draft pick, for a simple Quebec born player, and sign Souray Long term, and put the C on his jersey, are true and real CAPTAIN.

It ads depth and experience for San Jose, and it frees up salary space for next season, as montreal has a lot of free agents to sign, more importantly Souray and Markov.

I got no clue. Something is wrong with the team, something is wrong with the players, they are not there at all, there thinking about something else. The begining of the season it was very nice, we were one of the best teams in the Nhl, and now we are one of the worse.

Was there a fight among players, are other players jealous, is there favortism with the coaching staff? Did the coaches make mistakes with certain players?

Something’s gotta give…

The route that we are going we will not make the playoffs. I had a conversation with a friend of mine in the summer, and we were discussing what position will they finish in the conference… hehehe, I told him what if we don’t make the playoffs??? he said impossible, we will finish either 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th. Well I hope he’s right.
